Terms of Service

Last updated 19 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the iVola accounting platform. By creating an account or using iVola, you agree to these Terms. If you are using iVola on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

1. The service

iVola provides cloud-based accounting tools for Fijian MSMEs, including invoicing, bills, payroll, banking, inventory and financial reporting, with Fiji tax schedules (VAT, FNPF, PAYE, SRT) preset and editable.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access other tenants' data, disrupting the platform, reverse-engineering it, or using it for unlawful purposes.

4. Tax calculations & professional advice

iVola assists with tax calculations using rates configured in your workspace, but it is a tool, not a substitute for professional advice. You are responsible for verifying figures and for your filings and tax obligations under Fiji's accounting and tax rules. Always confirm current rates before lodging.

iVola is designed to support Fiji accounting and tax-record preparation. It does not constitute tax advice. Businesses registered under the VAT Monitoring System (VMS) or subject to E-SDC requirements should confirm their applicable fiscal invoicing obligations with their tax adviser — iVola invoices are not a substitute for an accredited fiscal POS or VMS solution.

5. Fees

iVola is currently provided as a free core plan for Fiji MSMEs. We reserve the right to introduce premium plans in future; if we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice before any charges apply to your account. Free access will not be removed without notice.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you enter. We process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may export your data at any time.

7. Availability

We work to keep iVola available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance or update features from time to time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iVola is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your reliance on calculations, reports or data within the platform.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On termination you may request an export of your data, subject to legal retention rules.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Fiji, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Fijian courts.
